Being able to stay in Mina is important because pilgrims stay in tents all day and night. This is called Layali al-Tashriq. They will read from the Holy Quran and offer prayers. They will worship Allah SWT and participate in zikr prayers. They also listen to talks about Islam.
Muzdalifah is a flat, open area in the Hejazi region of Saudi Arabia close to Mecca. It is located southeast of Mina, on the road from Mina to Arafat.
The ninth day of Dhul Hijjah is celebrated in Muzdalifah. It will be outside, in the open air. Pilgrims will gather these rocks to throw at the Jamarat pillars.
